Suasana hening dan cenderung sepi akan kita rasakan jika berkunjung ke pantai Pok Tunggal, pantai ini tergolong masih sepi dan dalam proses pengembangan dibandingkan dengan pantai – panti lain yang lebih terkenal di Gunungkidul. Jika wisatawan ingin merasakan atmosfer pantai yang masih alami , pantai pok tunggal memiliki ini. Pasir putih yang lembut terhampar di bibir pantai, tebing – tebing batuan karst berdiri kokoh di seputaran pantai , seolah menambah komplit kecantikan panorama alamnya. Jalan masuk menuju area pantai masih terjal dan berbatu sehingga hanya bisa dilewati oleh mobil kecil atau sepeda motor. Pantai ini cocok bagi traveller yang suka melancong ke pantai yang masih perawan, belum terjamah oleh pembangunan yang pesat. Dinamakan pantai pok tunggal karena dulunya berdiri kokoh satu pohon duras dipinggir pantai, namun saat ini pohon tersebut sudah roboh dan tumbuh tunas baru yang masih kecil. Kecantikan akan semakin sempurna ketika senja tiba, kita dapat menyaksikan keindahan sunset, pergantian dari terangnya siang menjadi gelapnya malam.
